Project Objective

The objective of MI Caregiver Connection was to create a unified, statewide digital hub that simplifies how Michigan caregivers access support. The platform brings together trusted resources, local Area Agency on Aging connections, practical tools, and opportunities for community into one accessible experience. By reducing confusion and fragmentation, the site ensures caregivers can quickly find what they need and focus more of their time and energy on caring for their loved ones.

3Lane approached this project through a research-driven, human-centered process grounded in stakeholder insight and caregiver feedback. We began by identifying barriers in awareness, navigation, and access, then developed a clear information architecture and cohesive digital identity to connect all 16 AAAs under one trusted platform. Through thoughtful UX design, personalized tools like the Caregiver Help Tool, and a streamlined statewide structure, we built a scalable solution that strengthens collaboration and makes caregiving support easier to access across Michigan.
