Project Objective

The objective of the Our Ocean Conference Commitment Tracker was to design and develop a secure, user-centered platform that enables global stakeholders to submit, manage, and track ocean-related commitments. The system needed to support sign-in functionality, allow participants to submit new commitments aligned with designated action areas, and provide access to update and monitor commitments made at previous conferences. The goal was to create a centralized, transparent environment that strengthens accountability, supports long-term progress tracking, and reinforces the conference’s global leadership in ocean conservation.

3Lane designed and implemented a structured digital platform that balanced usability, transparency, and data integrity. We developed a secure authentication system that allowed stakeholders to access personalized dashboards where they could submit new commitments, edit past submissions, and track measurable progress over time. The tracker was architected to align commitments with defined action areas, ensuring clarity and consistency in reporting. Throughout the build, we prioritized intuitive workflows, scalable data structures, and performance optimization to support global participation and long-term sustainability of the platform.
